Graters

PLEASE HELP, TIPS ON HOW TO CLEAN OUT GRATERS?

I was zesting some limes last night and when I went to wash my grater couldn't get all my lime zest out! I washed and tried to use a knife. Scrubbing with a sponge doesn't help. Does anyone have any tricks? It's so frustrating when you go to use it again and you have little bits stuck in it.

1. Soak it overnight and then try again. Should come right out.
2. try a toothbrush. i keep a toothbrush by my sink. you wont believe what it cleans. or try your sprayer nozzle.
