Does anyone else have a fear of grating their fingers off with a cheese grater?

my friend does, i kind of think she is retarded for thinking so but that's just my opinion.

I have had the fear of grating my fingers on a cheese grater. The shape of them suggests that it could happen, but it would only get the tips of one's fingers. You'd be able to stop before it was any more than a cut. Unless she is afraid of somebody else doing it to her, knowing that she could stop it once it happened may comfort her.
Not really... I fear more losing a finger to juicer or a food processor
