What's the most pointless thing you can think of?

Here's a few suggestions: Paris Hilton (obviously) Engagement rings (if you're between 16 and 19) Overly fangled cheese graters and other such 'labour saving' kitchen tools that take even longer to dismantle and wash than conventional equipment. Deal or no Deal (if you end up with a 50p and a £2000 box you'll get offered £1000. If you end up with a £5000 and a £50,000 box you'll get offered £1000) You can't have the letter G What about all the reat thins in life we would be able to talk about?
