What cheese would be good to accompany Parmesan? ?

I'm making a stuffed chicken bake to surprise my bf for our anniversary. The recipe includes: Boneless/ skinless chicken breast Italian seasonings Stuffing Parmesan cheese (grated) Cream of mushroom soup Salt and pepper to taste I want to add another cheese to the recipe, I just dont know what to use. Got any suggestions? Thanks.

  1. Mozzarella
  2. Ramano
  3. romano would be a good italian cheese to go with the parmesan, or pecorino reggiano or Asiago, both of which are also good italian cheeses that would pair up nicely, good luck
  4. Provolone or Asiago. When the chicken is almost finished add a very thin slice on top and let it melt, then sprinkle with fresh italian leaf parsley. Yummy!!!!
  5. I like mozzerella, provolone, asiago. Kraft has a new package of shredded Italian cheeses that include the above and a couple more I think. I used it for Lasagna and it was very good. Hope it helps. Bethany
  6. Grana Padano is another grating cheese from Italy that is great in a creamy dish like this - or asiago classico
