Can i use mozzarella cheese istead of parmesan while making white pasta sauce?

run out of parmesan cheese can i use mozzarella??

2. No. You will just ruin the sauce. They have different consistencies. When you eat it it will get stringy, and when you refrigerate it, it will turn into a large clump.

4. When I cook I can take a basic recipe and make it my own. I use what I have on hand. I substitute something for something else.Sometimes it turns out sometimes oh well ...you have to make mistakes to learn
5. You can't replace parmesan with mozzarella. Why don't you make a baked pasta dish instead? Like mac and cheese or baked ziti. You can use your mozzarella that way.
