Which is considered the better quality parmesan cheese?

I have heard that Grano Padano and Parmigiano Reggiano are good but wondered if anyone knows which Parmesan is the better one.

1. Parmigiana Reggiano isn't actually Parmesan apparantly, however i always thought it was and i just made a sublime Carbonara with it!! Never had the other one!
2. Try tasting each, it is up to u ....definitely try tasting from something uncut as much as possible from the round.!
3. Parmigiano Reggiano is best quality. If you can get a 6 year old its the tops, but WAY expensive.
4. Parmigiano Reggiano, any Italian will tell you that. Grana Padano is the poor man's parmesan substitute.
