Is it OK to eat Kraft shredded parmesan cheese that has never been opened?

I bought it and accidentally left it out for 2 days. I am using it in lasagna so it will be cooked before eating. It is not moldy.

1. It's fine. It's a hard cheese, which doesn't spoil as quickly as soft ones do. Also, the Kraft has preservatives, and often is sold on the shelf, not in the refrigerated section.
2. Its fine if it has never been opened. This type is often sold from regular shelves rather than in the refrigerator section. Restaurants will also often keep it on the table in shakers.
3. No problem. Many recommend not refrigerating it at all.
4. Sure go ahead. It will be ok.
