If a recipe calls for shredded parmesan cheese, can I use regianno parmesan?
I don't know if it will affect the taste too much or what. I'm making a spinach lasagna with it. Thanks!

- Sure!
- Yes you can. The regianno may have a little bit stronger flavor, but they are pretty much the same. I do it all the time.
- yup!
- I don't think it will make much difference.
- Yes, and it will enhance your recipe.
- Yep.
- Oh, yes! That's the best kind of parmesan!
- Yes, you can substitute the two cheeses. The good thing about lasagna is that you can be very creative and still have excellent results!
- Of course. It's a better form of Parmesan and might have a stronger smell and flavor, so you might want to use a little less. But you'll definitely notice the flavor more.
- It should enhance the flavor of your recipe.
