I cut open my finger on a cheese grater 3 weeks ago, is it infected?

I was making cheese sandwiches when I was drunk and grated my knuckle, put a plaster on it and then ignored it. 3 weeks later it's swollen and painful to touch. It looks a bit like a wart to be honest and looks angry and red. Is this infected? And do I need to go get anti-biotics or something?

1. Yes you should get medical treatment ASAP !!! you may also need a Tentanus shot . A tentanus Infection generally occurs through wound contamination and often involves a cut or deep puncture wound. Make sure your shot record is really when you go.
2. possibly -wash it well with warm soapy water & go to an urgent care.
3. It sounds like an infection. You should consult with a doctor, as either a prescription will need to be given, or you will need to get a course of treatment going at least 1-2x to the hospital per day for IV medications. I hope that this helps you.
