parmesan cheese?
Can this cheese be frozen?? also how long can it be kept in fridge??

- Yes, hard or soft cheeses can be frozen when airtight for up to a year in a 0ยบ freezer. Cheddar type cheeses may be frozen but will turn very brittle. .
- Absolutely! Just shred it first, put it a ziplock, squeeze the air out, and toss in the freezer. I do this all the time, in fact yesterday I shredded 2.5 pounds of Parm, Asiago, and Romano for the freezer. It's cheese on demand and hold up perfectly well, it's just like fresh.
- Parmesan can be frozen but you have to make it airtight
