- On top of a steaming bowl of pasta.
- You store it in the refrigerator. I love using it on pizza, pasta, etc.
- You can use it to make homeade alfredo sauce. Store it in the refrigerator
- You can also freeze it and it will keep longer
- spaghetti, pizza, salads. you store it on a shelf....just like they do at the store..
- Parmesan cheese can be used on pizzas, pastas, and salads. After opening the can says to refrigerate.
- If it was purchased already grated for you, you simply sprinkle it on top of foods (generally of the Italian variety) Store in the fridge. If you are lucky enough to have a block of ungrated Parmesan (Parmesan Reggiano is the best) you must grate it fresh over or into your hot foods. It is a lovely, yet acquired, taste.
- Hey there!! Parmesan is a versatile cheese that you can use in plenty of dishes - ranging from salads (where you can shave off bits of the cheese) to pastas and soups (usually shaved or grated on the top) to pizzas and open top sandwiches... The best way to store the cheese would be to wrap it in some cheesecloth or cling film and store in the refrigerator... dont freeze it as I feel it messes up the texture... :-) Have fun! Bon appetit!
- its a good strong cheese to grate or shave over pasta or pizza keep in fridge
- grated over salads, soups, pasta dishes etc. for storage wrap it tightly in wax or parchment paper, then wrap a second time in plastic wrap or glad press & seal.
