Graters

what is the best remedy to remove dry skin from feet and get them ready for sandals?

I have tried one of the foot scraper things (looks like a small cheese grater) and it doesn't work good. I need something else. I am going to the mall this saturday any suggestions for like bath & body works products or anything?

  1. buy a pumice stone and a sharp razozor for scraping
  2. use a pumice stone everytime you take a shower...trust me this works wonders you can buy one from the body shop also you can buy special foot creams at any drug store or sephora that will make your feet soft good luck!
  3. pumice
  4. PED EGG, baby! I just got one. It removes all the dry skin, cracks, everything.... And it only takes like 5 minutes!!! late entry: They are $10.00 at Walgreens!
  5. You can buy this thing from Dr. Scholls I think it's called and it looks like a huge nail file This: http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:88MmK0t3JRe6iM:http://www.8ty8beauty.com/buffers/pumi-foot-file.gif They work pretty good, don't do it too hard or much it can irritate your heels etc. and make them sore. And always use foot lotion morning and night it will help quite a lot.
  6. anything specifically designed to moisturise feet, use it twice daily if needs be
  7. Just rub moisturiser in every night. Works wonders for me.
  8. Pedicure once a month and lotion EVERY time you bath no matter how many times you do it a day. If you do that to your whole body you'll see the difference when you grow older.
  9. I have this homedics thing for my feet. It works on it's own and scrapes off the dead skin. I bought it at Wal-Mart (cheap, like $15). Also make sure you give your feet a really good soak before using something rough on them. The dead skin will come off easier.
  10. Have you heard of the PedEgg? Even though it pretty much is one of those small cheesgraters, it works pretty well. I used it on my dry feet the other day, and now most of the dry skin is gone! You can find them at Target.
  11. H2O + sells great foot soak, scrub and lotion... bath and body works, too. But if youre going to spend the money, just get a pedicure for a kick start and then keep up with it on your own!
  12. Using pumice stones everytime you go in the shower is a great idea but sometimes our feet need spoiling don't they? I try to treat my feet quite often with a foot cream or foot soak, foot soak is a great idea if youv had a busy day and want to relax, another idea if you don't like pumice stones is to use an exfoliating scrub for feet, I often use these too. If you go for one of these remember to try and find a scented one to help you relax and make you feet smell nice =] If your going to wear sandals don't forget to put a slick of paint on your toe nails, bright colours realy catch peoples eyes so try and go for bright yellow, green, pink, red, orange or blue but avloid black its just plain dull, oh and if you want a more natural look treat yourself to a brilliant quality manicure set for your nails!!! Hope I helped =]
  13. dont wear sandals
  14. Simple: after cleaning your feet, apply moisturizer and cotton socks before going to bed.
